Peace Run
The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run spreads the message of peace and harmony in a very simple way - by carrying a flaming peace torch to all four corners of the world. This torch is passed from hand to hand, connecting millions of people across the globe in a very profound, heartfelt way.
The Run was founded by Sri Chinmoy in 1987. The Run first visited Kenya in 2006, encountering a very warm reception.
Among the enthusiastic supporters of the Run include former marathon world record holders Tegla Laroupe and Paul Tergat. On the right picture below, Paul Tergat is holding the World Harmony Run Torch with founder Sri Chinmoy.
